Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

This policy explains how Ninza Career Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use Program Zero at zero.careersninza.com and its member app. We process personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, and we are the Data Fiduciary for the data described here.

The short version: we collect what we need to run your membership, take your payment and show your profile. We don't sell your data. Your phone number, email, address and date of birth are never shown on your public profile.

1. Data we collect

Data you give us

  • Account: full name, email address, mobile number and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
  • Profile (optional): profile photo, date of birth, gender, postal address; education (degree, institution, field, years, grade); certifications; projects (descriptions, tech stack, links); work experience; current college, company and role.
  • Payments: the amount, date, status and Razorpay order and payment IDs. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered on Razorpay's secure checkout and never reach our servers.
  • Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email.

Data collected automatically

  • Security and login data: login times, IP address and browser type, kept to protect your account and investigate misuse.
  • Programme data: your enrolment status, level, test results, project submissions and attendance, once these features are live.

2. How we use it

  • To create and secure your account, including sending verification and password-reset codes.
  • To deliver the programme: class access, recordings, assessments, certificates and level progression.
  • To process your payment and issue receipts, and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
  • To send service emails such as receipts, class and batch reminders, and security notices. These are part of the service, not marketing.
  • To publish your public profile once you reach level One (see section 4).
  • To answer your questions and complaints.

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you create an account, and for the legitimate uses the DPDP Act allows, such as meeting legal obligations. You can withdraw consent at any time (section 7). Withdrawing it means we can no longer provide the parts of the service that depend on that data.

3. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that process it for us under contract, and only as much as each one needs:

ProviderPurpose
Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd.Payment processing
Google (Workspace)Sending account and service emails
MongoDB (Atlas)Cloud database hosting
Our web hosting providerHosting the website and files such as profile photos and receipts
Google (Analytics, Fonts)Website usage statistics; web fonts
Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel)Measuring our Facebook and Instagram advertising

Some of these providers may store data outside India. We do so only where the law allows, and we require appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data when Indian law or a court or government authority requires it. We never sell personal data.

4. Your public profile

Every member has a profile address (/u/your-name). It is not public while you're at level Zero. When you reach level One, after passing all six quarterly tests, your profile becomes publicly visible so that you can share it and invited employers can see your work. A public profile shows only your name, photo, education, certifications, projects, work experience and level. Your phone number, email, address and date of birth are never shown publicly.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use one essential cookie (zero.sid) to keep you logged in and to protect forms against forgery.

On this website we also use Google Analytics (to understand which pages are useful and how visitors find us) and the Meta Pixel (to measure our Facebook and Instagram advertising, for example how many people who saw an ad went on to create an account). These tools set their own cookies and receive your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit. They don't receive your name, email, phone number or payment details from us. You can block them with your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker, and the site keeps working.

Pages load the Lato font from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers. If you install the member app, your device caches public pages so they work offline. Dashboard and account pages are never cached on your device.

6. How long we keep data

  • Account and profile data: while your account is active, then deleted within 90 days of closure unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • Payment and receipt records: for 8 years, as Indian tax and company law requires, even if you close your account.
  • Verification codes: deleted automatically within 15 minutes.
  • Login history: your last 50 logins.
  • Contact messages: up to 2 years.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update your data (you can edit most of it yourself in your dashboard);
  • ask us to erase your data, except records we must keep by law;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or become incapacitated;
  • have your complaints dealt with by our Grievance Officer.

To use any of these rights, email [email protected] from your registered email address. We respond within the time limits set by the DPDP Rules, and in any case within 90 days. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, hashed verification codes, limits on login attempts, and access controls on our admin tools. Every admin action on a member account is logged. If you reset your password, or an admin changes your email, phone number or password, we email you straight away. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

9. Age

Program Zero is for people aged 15 or over. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 15. If you are under 18, please join only with your parent's or guardian's knowledge and consent; we may contact them to confirm it.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll update the date at the top and email members before the changes take effect.
